urrmm Im new here and I hope its ok to put up songs from Eurovision cause they're actually pretty good. I hope this isn't against the rules 
But I have two artists that I'm sure people know about, seeing as how one of them WON Eurovision this year (but just in case:) )
For Finland ----> LORDI
Hard Rock Metal bands who are constantly adorned in monster costumes - no joke. Their song that I absolutely love - Hard Rock Hallelujah! The lyrics may be a little corny (they're in english - for example "the rocks about to roll" and "its the arockalypse"?!?!?) but the music and vocals really mesh and sound awesome. Although its not really "pop" music it is popular so I figure thats enough.
For Iceland -----? Silvia Night
The rude, bitchy, hilarious and TOTALLY FAKE (really) diva from the ice lands is Silvia Night. She was also at Eurovision but her character's bad attitude didn't get her too many votes unfortunately. But if you're looking for Europoptastic than this is up your alley. It is absolutely pop - tastic its dripping with it, her single "Congratulations" and its quite funny too, with lyrics like "the vote is in Ill fucking win", and "congratulations I have arrived, Im Silvia Night and Im shining so bright!".
I LOVE BOTH SONGS... and hopefully some of you will too. Hope you dont find them to be generic, air-head, typical eurovision songs cause they're not at least to me.
