When I listened to Oh Lord i thought it was the best song ever, and them they released Hardcore Life and I thought THAT was the best song ever.
I don't know where to find any news about them, are they going to release an album without Dominika? I fouund out that there is a song called take me home, but i can't download it from anywhere!

Did the songs do well in the charts? I can't remember ever hearing them on Swedish radio, as ace as they are. Hardcore Life is definitely the best, although Oh Lord was good too. I think I heard that they're going to continue without Dominika but I don't know how, she is so much cooler than the guy in the band (I've forgotten his name, all I remember was he was an ex-boyfriend of Alexander Bard?) so I doubt he'll get very far on his own unless he finds another ace lady to take Dominika's place. I wonder if La Camilla is busy?

Both songs spent a couple of weeks in the top 10 (The chart run for both were actually extremely weird, them jumping out of the top 40 and into the top 10 for months. You can view the chart run for 'Oh Lord' here and for 'Hardcore Life' here. I smell something weird going on. Surely people can't buy their music excactly every other week? Yes, your right Jessica, both songs were ignored by both music channels on tv and radio. Quite a shame. They've already found a replacement for Dominika, actually. Her name is Camilla Brinck, who competed in Melodifestivalen last year, as well as releasing a couple of good pop singles back in 2001. It's obvious that their official site is run by Dominika's people, you can read a rather nasty message about Camilla on the news section.

I think his name is Ulrich or something like this! Was he really Bard's boyfriend? Nice!
I hope they release something new soon!

Well, I got the name Camilla right! I liked her song Jenny from MF 2005. Will they re-record the singles with her singing?

Actually I don't think Dominika contributed much to the vocals remember her in army of lovers, she always spoke instead of singing her parts in the songs, so it will not be that different with Camilla vocals. I would like La Camilla from army to join, but the las time I heard of her was that she was homeless and poor, didn't save any money from her days in the army, and now didn't have even a place to spend the night! A job like this could help her, i guess, but i don't think she would fit.

I think you're mixing her up with Leila K or something. She's definitely not homeless. At least she's still out partying! She makes the tabloid's mingle pictures like every other week. But then again it wouldn't really surprised me - while Alexander, Michaela, Dominika and Jean-Pierre all were hyper intelligent, La Camilla had the intelligence of a cow. But she's still ace, even though she's a screw-up. She did do an interview like a year ago about her planned trip to South America to kill herself by jumping of a cliff, for example. Must feel a bit shitty being poor. All the former Army members are millionaires, except Michaela. But hownee, no one in Army Of Lovers could sing. They all talked in the verses, that was the whole idea of the band.

Maybe we should start a charity to save La Camilla and Leila K - Swedish Ex-Popstars In Need!

What I've heard is that the wierd chartpositions were in part due to there not being enough singles pressed to sustain demand.
I don't believe that, I rather thing that there has been some "sanctioned buying" of singles to make them appear more popular than they actually are. And if that is what it takes to make people see the brilliant over-the-top gay-synthpop of Hardcore Life (one of my favourite songs of the year), then I'm all for it.

With a profile like that i won't doubt anything i hear from la camilla from now on! take a look at this page: www.army-of-lovers.net/home.htmli saw that thing about her being homeless there. 27.02.2006 • La Camilla: "I am homeless" | Comments (10) From Aftonbladet (dated 20.02.2006): La Camilla says that she's homeless and retells the story about her contemplated suicide. She adds that she has some sort of premenstrual disorder, which recently led to some fuzz aboard a plane from India to Sweden, where she allegedly was drunk, kissed a younger man and verbally abused other passengers. After that, she has had an increasingly hard time finding jobs. Follow this link to read the article (Swedish). Why in the world would it be difficult to her finding a job? ;D

Maybe we should start a charity to save La Camilla and Leila K - Swedish Ex-Popstars In Need! We can call it Sex-PIN. And get Andreas to record a theme tune as a follow up to Love Gun... A
