Yes, I know! Israel is not in Europe, but it's sort of a European country, just not in Europe. (And on British Airways' posters they say: "all flights form the UK to Europe exc. Russia and Israel", which doesn't make sense) Sharona and Daniela Pik are sisters. They are from Israel. Israel is where the Jews live. Other people live in Israel too, but they live in special bits. Their dad is Tsvika Pik, who wrote Dana International's 'Diva', which won the Eurovision Song Contest for Israel in 1998. Daniela and Sharona used to sing together and released a mini-album thing. They participated in Kdam, the Israeli Eurovision selections in 2005 with the AMAZING song 'Hello, Hello', which means 'Hello, Hello' in English. The song is really good, but have a look at the performance below and you'll see why they didn't do well on the night: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyRtEh50xq8Pik Sisters - Hello Hello mp3 on RapidsharePik Sisters - Baby mp3 on RapidshareTheir dad also took part in the selection (like he does every year), and he didn't do well either (also like every year).
