Which of this year's Eurovision entries have become popular since Eurovision? Obviously Lordi have been quite a success (even having a small hit in the UK) but what about the others? Is Dima Bilan the biggest star in Eastern Europe? Have Lt United gone back to working in a bank? I need to know!

Texas Lightning were huge in the German charts - I think it's the biggest Eurovision hit they've had for a while, it went to No. 1 and has been in the top ten for 15 weeks so far (although it looks like it's about to get pushed out by an influx of dire German world cup songs).
Lordi also made the top 10 there and Kate Ryan made it no. 26
Not a lot, but still, can you ever imagine 3 top 30 hits from Eurovision in the UK?!

Kate Ryan has been in the charts in Sweden too. Along with Lordi and Carola of course.

Dima Bilan is on Rix FM right now! Yay! Jessica ...and he's being played A LOT! I'm predicting he'll sell lots more than Lordi has. Actually, while Lordi has been one of the most successful winners of Eurovision sales-wise around Europe, they're the first in years to miss out the top five in Sweden. Quite typical for Sweden, right, haha.

Hooray! Hopefully he'll then record more songs in English as I absolute love the two he's done so far.

Well, Lordis album "just" hit Nr 1 and seems fixed in the top ten, so I think the less stellar performance of the single in this case is.. not of that much importance.

Oh well, okay, then you're right of course. But I still think it's weird the single didn't sell better. The fact that it's a Eurovision winner should've been reason enough for people to buy it.

The fact that it's a Eurovision winner should've been reason enough for people to buy it. I think that Lordi attracts another kind of fandom compared to traditional Eurovision winners. More "fanatic" so to speak. It's interesting that Hard Rock Hallelujah performed a lot better on the download list than the single list, and that is not counting the countless illegal downloads. The fact that the band had the album out & promoted so soon after the victory and did a quite high-profile gig at the Hultsfred Festival have helped in pushing the album.
