Satellites is going to be released in the USA soon - it even has a new special remix, although I haven't heard it myself. Do you think it will be a success?

I think it will be a club hit, but it's so hard to break there nowadays that i don't think they will achieve much success.

Cascada and DHT have managed it, perhaps September could follow in their footsteps?

As I wrote while posting my latest podcast: "While having added a slightly disturbing acoustic guitar to the song, this mix is actually really good. Keeps the spirit of the original and spices it up a little. Nothing like the crime against good music that was Robyns US mix of Who's That Girl. I don't think September will have any US success though." Since I'm such a charming fellow, here's the song.

I liked this version, but i think the original one is miles ahead... but i still think the best track of their album is It Doesn't Matter!

I think It Doesn't Matter was a single in Eastern Europe so I guess September must have liked it quite a lot. It's one of my favourites on the album too but it's very hard to pick one best track cos it's such a high standard overall.

Thanks, hanzan! It was strange not to hear the killer introductory hook of the original, but this new, slightly less clap-happy, version works. The US intro actually ties in nicely with the "trying to walk on water/in the end everybody walks all over you" break. Here's the US cover art (ugh). A college radio station near me is well-connected with dance music promoters; they are actually playing "Satellites," so that's a glimmer of hope for at least a club hit. (That station is playing Juliet's "Avalon" as I write this! I should listen more often.)

I think they should have kept the font they used to write the september logo, the original cover is much better... but this isn't so horrible!

Aaaaah September Love her. "September 2004" & "In Orbit" are really good albums to listen, the second is better though. I hope she's recording something new with the great Von Der Burg Brothers (maybe for Melodiefestivallen ) Oh and also, "Satellites" has finally reached the UK Chart at a disapointing n#96 but I'm happy because no promo was planned and I think that no one could see the single in store so, yeah it's kind of great.
