After their first 2 singles, Going Blind and Crave, which were both brilliant (written by Max Martin, I seem to remember) and quite successful in Norway and Sweden, they have a new one called Don't Let It Go To Your Head. It was originally sung by Fefe Dobson, whose fantastic version I posted on Into The Groove a few months ago and is one of my favourite discoveries of the year so far, so hearing the Lilyjets sing it is taking some getting used to. It's still a nice version but the song just doesn't suit them in the way it did Fefe. They've changed it in a few ways and I don't feel it was for the better. Of course it's still a brilliant song compared to most things available, but it fails in comparison to Fefe. Still, I'm really looking forward to hearing a whole album by them and since this song seems to be doing really well for them, I hope it will soon be available. We just need CD Wow to hurry up and open a Norwegian site so we can get it for £8.75!

I saw the video for 'Don't Let It Go To Your Head' on telly this morning, but I thought it was quite crap. It didn't hit me in the same way the two first singles did at all. Can't remember Fefe's version. Must go and listen to it now!

Yeah, it's really disappointing. I was so excited when I heard they were covering this great song but their version juts pales in comparison, which is surprising since I love their first 2 singles.
